ALFN promotes Matt Bartel to president and CEO

Previously served as chief operating officer

The American Legal and Financial Network, a national network of legal and residential mortgage banking professionals, has promoted Matt Bartel to the role of president and chief executive officer.

Bartel was previously the association’s chief operating officer has been with the organization since 2002. Bartel’s appointment took effect on July 20.

“Matt Bartel has been a tremendously effective chief operating officer for the ALFN and the association has benefitted greatly from his efforts,” said Michael Catalfimo, ALFN’s chairman of the board.

“The board of directors is confident that Matt will be just as successful in his new role as president and chief executive officer and we look forward to working with him in that capacity.”

Bartel’s role includes overseeing the day-to-day management of the ALFN, executing strategic plans set forth by the ALFN board of directors, and representing the organization to the industry at-large.

Wesley Kozeny stepped down as president & CEO effective July 20. He retains his seat on the board of directors as founder.
