RealtyBid names president amid banner year

Long-time employee Jenny Atchley promoted

RealtyBid.com, a real estate auction website, has named Jenny Atchley as its company president. Atchley was formerly the company’s operations manager and has been with the company since it was founded, more than 15 years ago.

The announcement comes on the heels of what the company calls “a stellar first half of 2014,” that saw the site’s auction property inventory increase by 49% over the first half of 2013. The site’s property sales in the first half of 2014 grew by 93% over the same time period last year.

“Both of these announcements are an indication of the hard work and dedication of our staff and point to the adjustments our team has made to stay on track despite the changing winds of the real estate industry,” RealtyBid’s Founder and CEO Tony Isbell said.

Isbell celebrated Atchley and said that she has been integral to the company’s success. “Jenny Atchley has played a big part in our continued growth, and now is the perfect time for her to take the reins as president of the company,” he said. “She has been a leader and warrior within this company literally since the day we opened our doors. She has helped to shape RealtyBid into the company it is today.

“The impressive results we’ve seen in the first half of 2014 only prove that we need her leadership more than ever. Our plan is to continue to grow and expand our inventory offerings and sales opportunities, and having her in the leadership position of president will enable us to do that.”

In her 15 years with the company, Atchley served as liaison between the company and some of the largest institutional clients in the country, the company said.

Atchley said that she was “honored” to accept the new position. “I am honored to accept the role of president of RealtyBid and excited about our future opportunities,” she said.

“Throughout my 15 years at RealtyBid, I’ve had the great fortune of working with stellar leadership and support staff,” Atchley added. “Our company is well positioned to tap into new opportunities during this time of industry change, and I look forward to leading our team on that journey.”
