RBS Citizens Financial Group hired Jim Banahan as director of Condo & Co-op administration and development to lead the company’s expanding Condo & Co-op lending business.
In his new role, Banahan will manage the existing Condo & Co-op team overseeing operating policy and process improvement.
In addition, he will develop opportunities to expand markets, which should attract new originator talent in key strategic markets.
“Jim brings a wealth of product development expertise, operational and risk management, but most importantly, an in depth knowledge of properties and opportunities in key markets to this new role,” said Debbie Jones, director of secondary marketing for RBS Citizens.
“Under his leadership, we are excited to continue to grow our business and service the specialized financing needs of our condo and co-op borrowers,” Jones added.
