Stewart Lender Services, a subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (STC), has added two executives to its capital markets group. Dan Gallery (pictured above) has been promoted to group executive over the capital markets group. Additionally, David Cooper (pictured below) has joined Stewart as managing director of sales for capital markets group.

Gallery will lead the capital markets group in its expansion of due diligence services for investment banks, hedge funds, institutional investors, private investors and mortgage insurance companies.

“We are pleased to have Dan lead our capital markets initiatives; his background and understanding of the industry, business processes and systems will help Stewart continue to invest and grow this important business line,” said Jason Nadeau, group president of Stewart.

“I am excited to take on this challenge,” Gallery said. “Stewart is well positioned given its systems, processes, and management team to succeed and grow with our clients.”

Cooper joins Stewart after more than a decade in the mortgage services industry. Prior to joining Stewart, Cooper served various sales roles at Integrated Asset Services, The Winter Group and Clayton Holdings, Inc. 

“Dan’s leadership coupled with David’s extensive sales experience, leadership and capital markets client support will strengthen our services,” Nadeau said. “These two appointments, along with our other recent strategic acquisitions show our commitment to the capital markets arena, and will help Stewart to further build out the mortgage services division.”
