Happy Birthday George Washington (but you might know it better as President’s day)! This holiday might fall under the radar for many people, but it was lucky enough to make the official Federal holiday list, sharing a title with only nine other days.

But let's be honest here, most of us do not recognize a holiday unless we have it off. A holiday is more readily asscociated with sleeping in and relaxing, and if you do not have it off, this quickly defeats the concept.  

Although a lot of people made their routine commute to work today, bankers are enjoying a day filled with leftover Valentine's day chocolates and sales. Banks are one of the few entities that recognize all federal holidays.
