Treliant opens Dallas office to focus on mortgage industry

Treliant Risk Advisors said late Tuesday that the company has opened a new office in Dallas, as part of a move by the risk management consulting firm to meet the needs of the mortgage industry.

The office will focus on providing comprehensive litigation support and mortgage loan reviews for clients, the company said in a statement.

Treliant is the risk advisory firm co-founded by former Federal Reserve Board governor Mark Olsen.

The Dallas location was selected for its depth of experienced professionals with specialized skills in mortgage underwriting, mortgage servicing, and the foreclosure process. These professionals are capable of providing the high quality analysis necessary to meet customized client requirements, Treliant said.

"The demand for robust, timely, and accurate mortgage loan reviews has continued to grow as a result of heightened regulatory scrutiny and increased litigation risk," said Treliant CEO Andrew L. Sandler.

"Our Dallas location will deepen our ability to handle complex, large-scale loan file reviews using proprietary systems and experienced industry professionals."

"Dallas is a vibrant market for mortgage market and financial services expertise, a location for many of our clients, and a logical next step in the growth of our capabilities and services," added Steve Bartlett, Treliant Senior Advisor, former Mayor of Dallas, and former President and CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable.
