Genworth U.S. Mortgage Insurance, a unit of Genworth Financial (GNW), introduced a mobile version of Rate Express, the company's mortgage insurance rating and comparison tool.

The mobile application allows loan officers and processors to compare Genworth mortgage insurance rates or obtain a rate quote using their smartphone or tablet computer, so lenders can close loans faster.

"We designed the Rate Express mobile application based on extensive feedback from customers about the features that would help them be most productive in today's fast-paced, competitive mortgage marketplace," said Erika Stinson, Genworth USMI digital channel product manager.

"Loan originators and processors can customize their user profile within the app so that it presents information in the way that works best for them," she added.
