RE/MAX registers for IPO

Brokerage remains mum about offering price

Real estate brokerage RE/MAX filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its stock.

The firm did not reveal the number of shares it's offering, the price range for the share or the exact launch time for it IPO.

The company intends to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange.

The joint book-running managers for the offering include Morgan Stanley (MS), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAC) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM).

Additionally, the acting advisor to RE/MAX is Perella Weinberg Partners
