Homeowners suing BofA over forced-placed insurance want class-action status

A group of borrowers who sued Bank of America over force-placed insurance policies pushed onto their properties asked a California judge to certify their case as class-action status, Law360 reports.

The publication says:

The four plaintiffs, led by Christopher Gustafson, argued in a reply brief that they had not, as BofA contends, backed off their original claims in favor of a sweeping challenge to insurance rates that is unsuited for a class action.
