The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has filed its 13th lawsuit against a failed Georgia bank, according to Patch.com. Georgia, as a state, recently faced a slew of bank failures in the wake of the financial crisis.
The latest complaint is against Rockbridge Commercial Bank, which was taken over by regulators. The government is now suing several of the banks insiders for allegedly doubling down on loans from 2007 through 2009 and leading the bank to steep losses.
