National mortgage lender New Penn Financial hired Brian Simon as its chief operating officer.
Simon will focus on optimizing operations and systems for Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based New Penn.
In his 18 years prior to joining New Penn, Simon helped grow Caliber Funding as CEO, Freedom Mortgage as COO, and Prime Financial as an executive vice president.
As an expert in process re-engineering and technology deployment, he helped Freedom Mortgage build its business to more than $1 billion in mortgage originations per month.
