Bank of America to lay off 675 in Fort Lauderdale

Bank of America ($13.22 -0.05%)is laying off 675 workers in two Fort Lauderdale offices where employees modify mortgages, the company said Thursday.
The layoffs are part of 30,000 job cuts that the nation's second-largest bank had announced last September and are aimed at reducing costs and boosting its sagging stock price.
