Gross purchases of agency mortgage-backed securities hit $17.6 billion from March 14 through March 20, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Meanwhile, sales of agency MBS totaled $750 million for the same week. Additionally, net purchases of agency MBS amounted to $17 billion this week.
