Marc Tow, a California man accused of running a foreclosure scam in Cleveland, reportedly backed out of a plea deal this week, according to NewsChannel5 out of Cleveland.

The news agency calls it one of the largest foreclosure scams in Ohio.

Tow allegedly wooed investors by saying he would use investment dollars to refurbish foreclosures and sell them at a profit.
