Hardest hit metros see largest population growth

According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the metros hardest hit by the housing crisis saw the largest population growth in 2012.

The chart below shows the resurgence in population that the hardest hit or “clobbered,” as Trulia calls them, metros saw starting in 2010.
