John Snow will serve on the Risk and Compliance Committee of Lender Processing Services’ board of directors.

Currently, Snow is president of JWS Associates LLC, a consulting firm. 

From 2003 to 2006, Snow was the former Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and served as the head of President George W. Bush’s economic policy team as well as principal spokesman on economic policy.

“We are fortunate to have John as a member of the board,” said Lee Kennedy, chairman of the LPS board.

He added, “John’s experience in managing large regulated public companies and his expertise in the areas of regulation, public policy and risk management will enhance the board and the value we bring to the organization and its shareholders.”

Before Snow’s time at the Treasury, he served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of CSX Corporation.
