Monthly foreclosure rates in South Florida have been trending downward for the last year, with Miami-Dade County recording a 3.14% point decrease in October, wrote reporter Oscar Pedro Musibay with the South Florida Business Journal.

“Despite that downward trend, South Florida’s foreclosure rate continues to be several times higher than the 3.06% rate for the nation, according to a CoreLogic report.”
