Eleventh Circuit rules against homeowner in mortgage transfer case

The Eleventh Circuit dismissed a class action lawsuit brought by a mortgage holder, putting to rest the borrower’s allegations of Wells Fargo violating the Truth in Lending Act, Law360 reports.

The mortgage holder claims the bank violated the Truth in Lending Act by not notifying the borrower when her mortgage loan was transferred.

The circuit court held Wells Fargo had no obligation to provide notice of transfer, Law360 said.
