Tom Deutsch, executive director at the American Securitization Forum, lambasted the idea that eminent domain could be used to seize homes in remarks made this week at ABS East.

“I think the idea for home mortgage loans being taken for so-called market value is wacko, as well as illegal and bad policy,” he said during a panel discussion at the annual conference, as reported by Securitization Intelligence Monday afternoon.
