Equity National Title hires Travis Cline and Jonathan Hill

Both will serve as vice president, national sales executive

Citing increased client demand for compliance, Equity National Title announced the addition of Travis Cline and Jonathan Hill. Both will serve in the role of vice president, national sales executive.

In their new roles, Cline (pictured above) and Hill (pictured below) will focus on further growing Equity’s market share and geographic footprint. They will also serve as resources to existing clients, Equity said in a release.

James O’Donnell, Equity’s president, said that the company’s recent rollout of several new services has resulted in a significant increase in new business and new business inquiries, necessitating the additions of Cline and Hill.

Equity said that Cline comes to Equity National with “extensive experience on the mortgage lending side of the industry as well as settlement services.” Earlier in his career, Cline served as a manager with Beneficial Finance before becoming president with Apex Mortgage in 2003.

Cline also served with national mortgage insurance provider MGIC before becoming vice president of national sales for Vantage Point Title.

Hill comes to Equity National with 15 years of settlement services experience, spending the last five years at First Title and Escrow. Earlier in his career, Hill worked previously with Title One, a Michigan-based settlement services firm.Jonathan Hill

“We’ve introduced a few new services designed to aid lenders with certain compliance issues and to help them close more loans in the past two years, which has brought about a surge in market interest,” O’Donnell said. “Travis and Jon understand what lenders are facing in balancing increased risks with a need to close more loans. We’re confident they will quickly become trusted resources for our existing clients as well as for new customers.”
