1st Alliance Lending, a mortgage banking and servicing company, announced the addition of Rick Cardillo as national director of business development. In this role, Cardillo will oversee a new multi-channel, national lending division at 1st Alliance.

Cardillo brings more than 27 years of experience in mortgage and consumer banking to his position at 1st Alliance Lending. Earlier in his career, Cardillo held senior positions at Nationstar, CitiFinancial Mortgage, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley Credit Services.

In his new role at 1st Alliance, Cardillo will work to develop relationships with mortgage bankers, brokers, credit unions, community banks and Realtors who seek to enhance their mortgage offerings to underserved borrowers.

"1st Alliance Lending has established itself as a premiere Federal Housing Administration lender that is willing to go the extra mile for the underserved borrower," Cardillo said. "The market for FHA lending programs is enormous, but very few companies are equipped to help those individuals access the credit they need to buy homes."
