Assurant Field Asset Services names Rob Cooper managing director

Joins after 20 years with CitiMortgage

Assurant Field Asset Services, an inspection and preservation solution provider for the mortgage and housing industries, has named Rob Cooper as managing director.

Cooper joins Assurant after more than 20 years with CitiMortgage, where he held various positions throughout the company’s mortgage business unit. Most recently, Cooper coordinated service delivery and managed profit and loss activities for CitiMortgage's retail mortgage channel operations group. 

"Rob is an accomplished mortgage operations executive with a strong record of promoting client satisfaction and managing regulatory compliance,” said Gene Mergelmeyer, president and CEO of Assurant Specialty Property. 

"Rob’s leadership skills and experience will be great assets as we look to the future, building on the legacy of Field Asset Services.”
