A team of mortgage due diligence and risk management veterans launched a new independent consulting firm, Fair Oaks Consulting, which will provide litigation support services in the mortgage industry.

The new firm will include loan-level repurchase, put-back and indemnification reviews, forensic fraud reviews, expert witness testimony and reporting. 

In addition, Shuaib Hassan and Shawn Gravelin will lead the team as president and managing director, respectively, bringing prior experiences from The Murrayhill Company, Clayton Holdings, Allonhill, Phoenix Asset Management and Wingspan Portfolio Advisors.
