The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued a final rule clarifying and making technical amendments to the final escrow rule.

According to the CFPB, the newly amended rules explain how to determine whether or not a county is considered "rural" or "undeserved. The two words were based off of definitions from the United States Department of Agriculture and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
