Hymie Barber joins Chicago-based Cambridge Realty Capital Companies as national originations manager out of its Los Angeles national origination office.
In his new role, Barber will be responsible for generating new business and greater awareness of Chicago-based Cambridge’s senior housing/healthcare funding products nationwide.
He will retain his current positions as managing director of The Catalyst Resource Group and president of Catalyst/Cambridge Healthcare Finance in Los Angeles, where he has served as correspondent for the two Catalyst companies and Cambridge Realty Capital, a partnership that’s resulted in more than $500m in senior housing/healthcare transactions underwritten and closed, Cambridge said.
Barber is a CPA and holds degrees in accounting and economics from Loyola University in Los Angeles. He is a member of a number of professional organizations for health care facilities personnel.
