Hey, Henry, buy our s***!

This had most of us here at HW giggling.

From the site:

Use the form below to submit bad assets you’d like the government to take off your hands. And remember, when estimating the value of your 1997 limited edition Hanson single CD “MMMbop”, it’s not what you can sell these items for that matters, it’s what you think they are worth. The fact that you think they are worth more than anyone will buy them for is what makes them bad assets.

I have a ‘95 Saturn SC2 that is fully loaded. This sucker has got it all. I bought it for a little over $11K ten years ago, and I estimate it ought to hold its value well since they (luckily) just don’t make cars like this these days. I don’t actually owe anything on the car (which is currently not in working order) but if the government is offering to put cash into other people’s pockets… other people who were irresponsible with their money… then I figure that those of us with 800+ credit scores are entitled to at least a small handout as well. THAT is the way capitalism works: reward the responsible.

I have people call me all the time that want me to buy their house. They will admit that other houses on the street are either selling for much less, or sold for much less. But what I seem to fail to understand, is that they tought little Billy to play basketball at this house, which has a lot of value !! Suzy rode her bike here for the first time
