Update: Industry Press Releases

Apparently, I’m just chock-full of new feature ideas for HW these past few weeks. As if the new video channel and job board wasn’t enough, you may have noticed a new addition to the homepage sidebar this past week, called Industry Press Releases.

I wanted to bring attention to this, because it means that you can get your company some exposure for free. Essentially, the press releases sidebar is a rolling ticker of industry-related press releases, and the idea is to keep readers up-to-date on all industry-related information — whether I blog on the subject or not.

(A hat tip here has to go to the Housing Doom blog, whose highly-read news sidebar inspired me to adapt the idea for different use on this site.)

If you have any company news you’d like to share with the industry, feel free to send your press release directly to editor@housingwire.com. I’ll post it in the sidebar, assuming it’s reasonable — think of it as a free newswire.
